a little about me...

I am a wife, mother of three beautiful children, businesswoman and photographer - serving the NC Triad and surrounding areas.

What started out as a hobby has blossomed into much more. I have always loved photographs and cherished those saved by my mom and grandma over the years. They are little freeze-frames of my life and those around me. Becoming a mother ignited my passion for photography. I wanted to capture every moment of my babies childhoods on film. "Children grow up so fast" I was warned, and so they do! My photographs hold memories that will be treasured forever.

My style is more casual than traditional. Natural settings or on-location backdrops are my favorite. They help to create a more relaxed and personal session. I know that sometimes one must be patient, creative and flexible when photographing children. You will see me snapping pictures without waiting for that perfect smile. To me, the photograph should reflect the personality of the person, couple or family. The best pictures are those that are unplanned and unposed. After your session I will edit in my digital darkroom, taking great care to provide you with memories that will warm your heart for years to come.
